Why UCI?
The focus this program has on caring for the underserved was a priority for me and I liked how it was also a major academic center with a variety of opportunities to learn. But the main draw for me was seeing how the residents interacted with each other because it truly felt like they were a big happy family, and it means a lot to see how well everyone gets along. It was clear they fostered a supportive and passionate culture that I would be happy to be a part of.
Medical Interests:
Women’s health, LGBTQ+ care, health policy and patient advocacy
Hobbies:
Relaxing with my cats Sebastian and Lila, reading anything but nonfiction, crafts like scrapbooking, sewing, embroidery, outdoor activities like hiking, golf, paddleboarding, and cooking/eating with friends.
Fun Facts:
I read over 50 books during my 4th year of med school!Future Plans:
Outpatient practice somehow associated with academics and working with urban, underserved communities.
